We visited 7-Spice Bistro in Brampton over the weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday. The restaurant offers a delightful dining experience, blending the best of North Indian and Hakka cuisines with a modern twist. The restaurant excels in delivering flavorful, authentic dishes, from savory curries and tandoori delights to spicy, tangy Hakka noodles and Manchurian. Every dish is beautifully presented, showcasing a level of finesse that enhances the dining experience. The inside décor is stylish and welcoming, striking a balance between contemporary and traditional influences. It's a perfect setting for a casual family dinner or a more intimate evening out. The ambiance feels cozy and, making it suitable for a variety of occasions. What truly sets 7-Spice Bistro apart is its impeccable service. The attentive staff ensures that every guest feels taken care of, providing recommendations and keeping an eye on details without being intrusive. The timing of the courses is perfectly orchestrated, with a seamless flow from starters to desserts, keeping the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. The cocktails are another highlight, with a well-curated selection that pairs perfectly with the diverse menu. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic or something a bit more adventurous, their drinks won’t disappoint. I would definitely recommend 7-Spice Bistro as a must-visit for those seeking delicious North Indian and Hakka fare, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. We will look forward to return to...
Read moreOn Saturday, I took my mom for lunch as went with a friend before and thought I will treat her today. When we walked in at 1 pm, the entire restaurant was empty. We were the only customer and despite that the server gave us one menu. I had to ask for another one. Same thing happened last time but at that time ignored it. When you go to a Canadian restaurant, everyone gets their own menu unless it's really busy and they are short of it but they always apologize and give you the reason. Clearly this restaurant had plenty since we were the only customer. Sometimes commen sense is missing in these servers. Even the menu she gave, she changed it as it was greasy at the bottom. When we saw the menu, my mom wanted to try the vegetarian thali so I asked the waitress what vegetables are included in it. She right away said sorry we dont serve these in the weekend. The menu clearly states 7 days a week during lunch and which I pointed out but she didn't budge. For that reason I walked out. It's clearly a false advertisement as the website shows thali as well but slightly cheaper. We ended up going to a dosa restaurant and throughly enjoyed our meal. For this reason, I will never go back to this restaurant as I highly value customer service and principle and wouldn't recommend it to others as who knows what other surprises are there and maybe charge you more by saying oh the menu is outdated at least that's what the server told me today. Very...
Read moreI was expecting this place to suck, because the place that existed here before the COVID-19 nightmare stole the existence of Indian Buffets from me and America, was not particularly good. However, this place was in fact quite good, and probably could exist in Atlanta, where you can't exactly suck as an ethnic restaurant in Atlanta where the ethnicity of the cuisine has a large enough number to determine your restaurant's success. Nevertheless, I paid around-ish 50 dollars, as a white indian cuisine afficianado, and I was not disappointed at all and particularly suprised at the quality. I've eaten better Indian food before, but it's been more than half a decade and it's been at literally at private Indian dinners... So... For a restaurant, um. This was extremely good. Especially for middle Georgia. I was pleasantly surpirsed, and it turned my day around from bad to good. If I got Sa'ag Paneer and spent 10 more dollars, I'd have a perfect understanding of how good this place is. But yeah, for middle Georgia, and especially compared to what the restaurant (forgot the name) that was here a decade ago. Wow... This place might be my favorite in the area. I'll have to hold back on blowing all my money here. Because I haven't had a better meal than what I just ate here for months, at least. Superb quality, and also, it did not take that long either... So. Yes, 5 stars....
